This morning the Fire Department received at 02.01 a.m. the warning of a fire that affected a floor on the second floor of a ground floor building, plus three floors, on the Mas d’en Verge road in Tortosa. The fire, which was fully developed upon the arrival of the cash, has burned the dining room, kitchen and hall, and has left the rest of the flat affected by smoke. Structural damage is ruled out.
Two families, who were confined to the floors of the 3rd floor, also affected by the smoke, have been evacuated as soon as the ventilation and extinguishing tasks have been completed. One person was rescued from the interior of the apartment and evacuated with the rescue hood and one person was rescued from the interior of the apartment and evacuated with the rescue hood. Several people have been treated by the Generalitat’s Medical Emergency Service.
From 04:00, the residents were able to return to their homes.
