Due to the strong hail on Tuesday 30 in Baix Empordà, Alt Empordà, Pla de l'Estany and Gironès, the Regional Council is assessing the damage caused by the hail with the Government of the Generalitat, as it caused large damage to many uralite roofs, approximately 267,800 square meters affected. It is announced that the Government will allocate more than 6 million Euros to remove the damaged uralite and to install photovoltaic panels. They have also prepared an extraordinary uralite collection service for individuals.
